Kids Kites
 

Inspire the Next Generation The Westport Windriders want to share their love of all things kite related and what better way than through their ‘Kids Kites’ program.  We would love to come to your school or event and talk about the various aspects of kiting including how, when and where to fly as well as kite making and flying safety.  Along with a display of some of our own kite collections, we can bring kite kits.
In our program, we use a sled kite patterned by the White Horse Kite Flyers in England (with their permission) and we can either help the children make the kites or we can assemble them for the kids.  The kits cost $2.00 each and are available through the club.  The expense might be defrayed with a contribution from a sponsor who we could help you locate.
